Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing good. I have had a crazy week and weekend. I flew into Dubai to attend the Arab Fashion Week (AFW). I was privileged enough to wear one of the designers, Kristina Fidelskaya's pieces on the third day of the AFW. I will be posting a detailed post on my outfit over this weekend.
What I wore to the airport: Travel ootd
Did you know that Indian passport holders can now enter Dubai with a visa on arrival if they have a valid US visa stamped in their passport. Earlier I needed to apply for a visa prior to my travel and this new rule just makes life way more simpler especially since I do travel and will be traveling to Dubai a lot more.
In Dubai I was also able to participate in the Cucumber Festival courtesy one of my favorite's Renuka, where at the participating bars you can exchange a cucumber for a Gin and Tonic. Once the girls arrived in Dubai, it was absolute fun and total mayhem. (As you can imagine 8 girls sharing 4 rooms), We had such a great time getting ready and attending both the days. Not to forget the breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

You have to excuse me for the quality of the pictures as they were all taken from my iPhone. I couldn't really be walking around with my camera for a red carpet event.
Week 21 of 2017.
Get to know me better:
Q) How do I survive on such less sleep?
To be honest I am not certain. All the 3 nights I was in Dubai I was out till late and managed to survive on a few hours of sleep. I just need about 4 hours of 'good' sleep on a daily basis.
But what I can say is that I am super cranky and at my worst when I don't manage even those few hours of sleep.
I mentioned last week how I wanted to squeeze in 2 workouts, didn't get to do that. I just managed a day. This week I plan on getting three workouts. Already did one this morning which was almost a whole body kind of workout especially since I am not back at a proper routine yet. It feels great to be back at the gym and I wanted to share what I mentioned on my Instastories.
Someone asked me the other day what motivates me to get to the gym. Its the realization after all these years that I'm WORTH it. Do it for yourself because you are worth putting in the effort for. All our lives we are laying down efforts for studying, working, earning money, family, children most often forgetting ourselves. The minute you start valuing yourself, motivation, energy and time all falls in place.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead. Watch out this space to see what I wore for the third day of the AFW.
