It has been a while since I’ve been able to post on the website. My Instablog has been going steady but amid the kids being sick to me having a chest infection, I just haven’t had the time to sit down and blog. It’s kind of therapeutic to have my life back in order and be able to pen down my musings on style and fitness.
I love impromptu plans, and such was this lunch plan for my bestie’s birthday today. We went to Rossini an Italian fine dining restaurant at the Cave. The Cave has finally gotten it’s alcohol license and hence dining at the Cave will be all around experience at last.
From an athletic look at the gym in the morning it was a quick change for me into something more demure and elegant. I chose to team this pencil skirt from Zara with a crop top. There is something about a pencil skirt that makes the woman feel elegant and sophisticated.
I particularly love the triangular print on the skirt which makes you look slimmer. Even though we don’t have ‘fall’ in the Middle East, I try and wear the colors. Blacks, burgundy, browns, greys and whites are all in style.

Hope to put up a post on our Halloween weekend soon. Stay tuned.
