After 2 weeks of intense training at the Elite Gym in Oman, I was allowed one cheat meal by Coach Yoka and it happened to fall exactly when there was a night out planned by Muscat Mums. (www.muscatmums.com) It was a special night as the dinner was organized in honor of me for being a part of Muscat Mums for the past 5 years. The group was a hub of knowledge and an armful of support when I was pregnant with Josh for the first time. From friendly advices, to sharing personal experiences, to exchanging baby products, these moms always went out of their way to help and support. From having gained so much, I always felt inspired to be able to give back and help other new moms. Since Muscat Mums is a voluntary organization all the coordinators are volunteers who choose to help out in their free tie. I helped coordinate and run the Book Library, co-chaired with the previous Chair and was also the Chair for the last 2 years before I decided to step down and venture into the blogging field. I have always been a creative person and this just felt like the perfect time to pursue my passion for style and fitness.
Since I have lost a lot of weight in the past 2-3 months, I decided to dress up for the night out. I chose this figure hugging dress from River Island which happened to be in my wardrobe. It suited me perfectly for the night as it highlighted my curves and accentuated my silhouette. I believe in the StyleMantra, "if you have it - flaunt it".
Dress : River Island
Clutch: Louis Vuitton
I am not an expert when it comes to makeup, but I'd like to think I manage fine. As requested by some of you, I will put up details of what products I used for this look in another post.
I am so grateful to all the moms who took the time out from their busy schedules to come out last night, I had a great time.
