Hope you had a fantastic start to the year. I for one am already grateful for the way it has begun. The year ended with a bang offcourse by us partying with our close friends. The first day of 2018 begun with us going to the Chapel. It felt serene to sit in the Church compound while the kids played around and we did our talking to God.
I for one have never been a big fan of New Year resolutions. Mainly because of the fear of not keeping them, the fear of people judging me for not keeping them and the fear of self disappointment if I’m not able to fulfill them. Throughout my life I have tried many things often giving up when I got bored or when things got tough. N to add to it, it wasn’t easy when I was labeled by my own people that ‘she keeps giving up too soon’. Hence...
Amsterdam happens to be one of my favorite cities in the world and the absolute favorite of my hubs. He loves this city for its beautiful canals, the highly evolved thinking and liberalism of the Dutch people and the breathtaking beauty of the Dutch Countryside. The list below are my top things to do in Amsterdam and is not in any particular order. (All the pictures uploaded belong to me.)

It is fondly known as the “Venice of the North”. N what better way to experience the length of the canals than dining under the stars on a beautiful glass boat. We have been on the canal d...

In the meantime these are some of the essentials I pack for a summer getaway.
SPF 100 for the face
It is very important to wear a strong SPF on your face. It helps prolong fine lines and freckles, protects the face against brown spots and skin discolorations caused by the sun and not to mention protection against the harsh UV rays. I swear by the Bioderma Photoderm Max for the face.
Tanning oil with SPF
I am Indian with brown skin. T...
Basically not the typical camping types but wouldn’t mind glamping, then you will love the Desert Nights Camp at the Wahiba Sands in Oman. I have done my bit of camping in my younger days but given the choice, I would definitely opt for some basic luxuries. Its ironic that one would use basic and luxury in the same sentence but hey, that’s me.
I was quite reluctant pondering over how hot it would be (we went during the Eid weekend (24-26th of September), but I have to admit the weather was really good in the evenings. The temperature during the day was really hot, n I mean really hot but it was cool and windy under the shaded trees.
